This year, for the first time, we did not travel for Christmas. Santa came down our chimney. Thanks to all the grandmas and grandpas, it was a very merry Christmas indeed.

This actually made me cry...and I don't cry! It is wonderful to see the faces of the little monkeys as they opened their presents! Having gotten to shop with you for a few things it made me feel so close to you and yours, plus you were playing my favorite/least favorite X-mas song! The song alone makes me weepy but putting as a backdrop to your wonderful family...too much! Love you guys, the prairie
for new parents of a child with Down syndrome ..."There’s so much to consider! About learning how to manage prejudice, and about what to say and when to say it, and about how to juggle schedules and therapies and all that. There’s forgiveness, for all of us, and strength, and love, and hope, too. And faith, in yourself, and your child. Let your child show you the way. You will find it, together, and it will be amazing. It will be all the things you hoped it would be; it’s all there, waiting for you."
